Former Blue says it’s “60/40 in favour that Osimhen comes” to Chelsea after he spoke to him

One former Chelsea player is claiming that there is a 60% chance that Napoli striker Victor Osimhen joins Chelsea this summer.

In some updates that Chelsea fans will not help but be excited by hearing, former Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel believes that there is a fair chance that Osimhen arrives at Stamford Bridge this summer, and he is one guy who will know.

Sources: The four striker names Chelsea are ‘watching’ this month – Chelsea are looking to bring one striker in before end of window

That is because Mikel admits that he speaks to Osimhen via text message (who sends texts anymore? I’m sure he means WhatsApp).

The former Chelsea cult hero has been in the ear of Osimhen this summer as Chelsea have seemingly been trying to strike some sort of deal with Napoli that will see Osimhen arrive at Chelsea, and Romelu Lukaku arrive at Napoli this summer.

Things have gone a bit quiet

We haven’t heard much in recent days on this deal and it has seemingly simmered down a little bit in this game of poker. But Mikel believes there is more chance than not that Osimhen comes to Chelsea this window.

As you can see cited above, Mikel Says:

“I think it’s 60/40 in favour that Osimhen comes, I think so, he wants to come, I sent a few text messages here and there, told him that is a great club and city, he would like to follow in the foot steps of other Nigerians to play for Chelsea.”

So it sounds like Osimhen IS keen on coming to Chelsea despite other claims going around. Let’s hope Mikel’s 60% turns out to come true.
