One journalist has done a host of transfer updates last night and Chelsea were mentioned in one of the points on the agenda, another possible incoming.
Chelsea have been signing new players left, right, and centre, and they will also be needing to sell more players as well.

I have a feeling Enzo Maresca is monitoring a number of them, and we might see one or two surprise sales before the window is up, especially from the backline.
And perhaps this is why we are still being linked with defenders.

As The Daily Mail’s Sami Mokbel reports above, Chelsea are still monitoring Nottingham Forest defender Murillo, even though the defensive areas seem to be pretty stacked for now at least.
However, I think there is a very slim chance that Chelsea will pay Forest’s alleged £55m-£60m valuation, so if anything is to happen with this one, the fee will have to be lowered and the payer will have to push. Chelsea will also probably have to sell a couple defenders themselves.
