Chelsea’s player have been taking some time out after their 3-0 win against Club America in the early hours of Thursday morning (UK time).
The Blues played their third pre-season friendly of the campaign and it was also their first win, and new head coach Enzo Maresca’s first win as Blues boss too.

They will be hoping to carry on that momentum into the next game, which comes on Saturday night against league champions Manchester City and is going to be a much tougher test for Maresca and his players.
Needed downtime
That is why this latest rest and downtime is going to be much needed for the players, with just a couple full days off in between the two games.
