Journalist has heard key Chelsea official now ‘heavily involved’ in Victor Osimhen deal

A journalist has heard something this week that should give Chelsea a massive boost in their attempts to sign Napoli striker Victor Osimhen.

The days are now passing us by and Friday is fast approaching. This means time is running out for all clubs to do any final bits of business this summer before the window closing again until January.

EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea player offered to Nottingham Forest, Sterling ready to drop wages, New ST & CB push, Plus loads more – Plans for last days of the window: plenty of names in here 👀

Chelsea are heavily being reported to be one of the busiest clubs this week with many players they want to push out the door before Friday’s deadline. But they also want to sign one of two more players, with a new striker being the priority still.

Osimhen has been linked with Chelsea for many months now and it is all coming to a head this week. Will they pull it off?

Eghbali now involved

Eghbali being hands on again!

Our writer Simon Phillips has put out a very interesting article on his own Substack site this morning, and it is certainly a positive one.

Phillips says:

“Chelsea are stepping up their attempts to sign Victor Osimhen from Napoli as the priority target for new striker this window.

“What they need to do is send Behdad Eghbali to Italy with his shopping bag, just as they did with Fernandez. SPTC sources have actually heard that Eghbali IS now heavily involved in this move and is also working on it now. So that is certainly a positive.

“We’ve also heard that Chelsea are making one last push and have gone back in to negotiate this Osimhen move. Chelsea’s negotiators are now working on the money side of it all on the whole and if they can get this to a place that they are happy with, then Osimhen could well end up at Chelsea this week.”
