Journalist: Player keen to join Chelsea after former Blues legends get involved

One player is reportedly keen to join Chelsea this summer after two former Blues legends have jumped in to get involved in the deal.

Chelsea are on a real madness right now and things do not look like they are going to quieten down anytime soon. I think Chelsea fans are going to be in for a very busy and dramatic end to this summer transfer window, a summer transfer window that has already been super busy with new arrivals coming in. Chelsea also need to make many more outgoings in this time too, which is going to take some doing. Chelsea’s decision makers are going to be very busy every day now as they work on a host of different moves.

Could one of those moves be Victor Osimhen?

Osimhen wants Chelsea

Osimhen keen on Chelsea!

According to journalist Simon Phillips writing on his Substack site this week, Osimhen would rather join Chelsea over PSG.

Phillips says: “Chelsea want Osimhen though, and Osimhen wants Chelsea. SPTC sources have confirmed that the striker prefers a move to Chelsea and the Premier League over PSG.

“This could also make Arsenal a threat, should they move in for him. But we haven’t yet heard that they will be moving for him. PSG of course are still there, and so are Saudi clubs. But Osimhen’s preference is the Premier League, and he is keen on joining Chelsea despite no Champions League football.

“Sources also understand that both Didier Drogba and John Obi Mikel have been involved and in the ear of Osimhen to push him towards Chelsea, although there hasn’t needed to be much pushing in that sense. They’ve also been pushing Chelsea to sign him!”
