Official: Chelsea announce latest summer transfer arrival this Thursday lunchtime

Chelsea have just officially announced their latest summer transfer arrivals via their official club website this Thursday lunchtime.

The Blues have been making some big new signings in the last few months across the summer window, but some of them have not really been for the here and now.

EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea will make SECOND Oscar Bobb approach, closing on Grabriel Mec!!

This latest signing falls under that category, because he has joined but gone straight back on loan to his club.

Chelsea have just announces the signing of defender Aaron Anselmino, who will spend the 2024/25 campaign on loan at Boca Juniors.

The 19-year-old centre back has signed a seven-year contract at Stamford Bridge but will initially continue his development in his native Argentina, Chelsea say they look forward to monitoring and supporting him in his progress.

Another one in the door

Anselmino is seemingly part of Chelsea’s big youth project buying up many players for the future and hoping that they come good and can be integrated into the first team eventually or if not, sold on for profit.

It’s the way Chelsea are operating these days.

The young defender does seem like another top prospect though and it looks like Chelsea have worked hard to bring him in.

Anselmino spent time in the youth ranks of Juventud Unida and Sportivo Realico before joining Boca at the age of 12.

He signed his first professional contract with the club on 10 June 2023, and was handed his first-team debut against Lanus on the same day.

He then went on to make nine further appearances for Boca and scored his first senior goal for the club in April, a winner in the Copa Sudamericana group stage against Trinidense.
