Phillips writes:
“SPTC sources are hearing more and more this week about a move for Madueke to Newcastle.
“As we reported last week, Chelsea slapped a £50m price tag on Madueke so aren’t exactly in any rush to sell, but they absolutely would sell him if a decent offer came in.
“Toon are not paying that for him of course and some negotiation would need to be done. But sources close to these conversations this week believe that it may well still happen and the subject has gotten hot again.”
