According to a report this morning, two Premier League clubs have made contact with another PL club regarding their striker this transfer window.
The contact was made just last week in this developing story, but could one of the clubs be Chelsea?

We know that The Blues are seeking a new striker this window and have been trying to find ways to sign Napoli striker Victor Osimhen. But that deal looks hard to get done due to the overall financial cost of it and the fact the player is on such high wages.
Chelsea will clearly be looking at other opportunities as well, might one of them be Ivan Toney from Brentford?
PL clubs make contact for Toney
According to our own journalist Simon Phillips, two Premier League clubs made contact with Brentford just last week regarding a potential sale of Ivan Toney.
Phillips writes on his Substack site in a big transfer updates article on many names:
“Sources say two Premier League clubs contacted Brentford for Toney last week but no move has yet to materialise. We are unsure if one of those clubs was Chelsea but one of my sources says it is his opinion that he believes one was probably Chelsea. A Saudi move though is now looking most likely as of today.”
So there is some clear speculation and opinion there that one of the clubs might be Chelsea, but nothing to confirm that it was Chelsea.
We are sure that Chelsea are certainly watching that situation though at the very least.
