Chelsea fans have been heard booing their own players on Enzo Maresca’s first game in charge of the club, at least first competitive game in charge.
It’s only matchday number one in the league for Chelsea and already the fans frustrations have crept in at Stamford Bridge.

They witnessed their side lose 2-0 against Manchester City on Sunday evening, and it was the slow build up play that seemed to irritate at least some Chelsea fans.

As you can see in the above video, some fans expressed their annoyance with Chelsea passing it around at the back and not moving the ball forward.
This style of play is just something they are going to have to grow to get used to though, as possession-based football is exactly how Maresca wants to play.
Could be another long season at The Bridge otherwise. Only results will change this I think.
