(Video): Chelsea score twice in great 45 minutes as Blues finally seem to click for Maresca

Chelsea came into tonight’s friendly knowing that a result was important, and they needed to put in a good performance.

In that first half, they managed it. The opposition aren’t up to much, but Chelsea still look strong, effortlessly moving the ball around with far more fluency now that Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has got a start.

The first was another cool penalty from Christopher Nkunku, who is perfect in preseason.

The second goal came from the ever impressive Marc Guiu. He got up well and nodded in a near post header off a defender after KDH crossed it in from the left.

We always like a striker who makes that sort of run, we’ve not had one in too long. He’s really showing us the alternative option he can be if he sticks around this season.
