Marc Guiu looks a real menace. He works hard, he presses, he closes down, he runs the channel. He’s big and strong, so much so you can hardly believe he’s so young. He’s raw, but there’s so much to work with.
Remind you of anyone? Well it sounds a little like our first impressions of Nicolas Jackson a year ago. Sadly it looks like Guiu has more similarities with Jackson than just those.
He also seems to have a habit of losing his head in front of goal. Just look at this triple miss just now – from a chance he created with his hard work, of course.
We’re sure this was just opening night nerves.
