Christopher Nkunku has scored in every Chelsea game so far in preseason. Ok two of them were penalties, but you can’t really ask for more than that sort of form in preseason.
He’s done more than just score – he’s played some nice stuff. Today has been his best game yet, and he just won a penalty for Noni Madueke to convert to make it 3-0.
It was a flash of brilliant control and quick feet from the Frenchman. We hope he’s in a position to do this all the time this season. He ghosted between tiring defenders like they weren’t there. Forget the opposition, he looks sharp and explosive and confident. That’s what we really want to see in these games.
This moment had a flash of Eden Hazard about it. Imagine if he can bring a little of that stardust…
