According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea are now very close and in the final stages of completing a deal to sign one Portuguese star in the remaining weeks of this transfer window.
The club have been looking to get a number of deals done and completed before the end of the summer window this month, and this one will be another incoming deal.

Romano says that Chelsea and Atletico Madrid have now advanced into the final stages of the deal that will see Joao Felix head to Chelsea as ‘part of’ a separate deal that will see Conor Gallagher head to Atletico.

Felix was at Chelsea on loan of course a couple seasons back, is he now about to return there?
As you can see from the video above, Romano says:
“Chelsea and Atletico have been able to advance to the final stages for the João Félix deal! The final details are being done!
“The expectation is for Chelsea to pay £34 to £38 million for João Félix, but I think it will be £34 million plus add-ons, so this could be the structure of the deal.”
