Chelsea getting Jadon Sancho from Manchester United on deadline day, at the same moment they let Raheem Sterling go to Arsenal, is going to become one of the talking points of the season without doubt.
On BeinSports it was already dominating coverage today:
“Maresca said Sterling isn’t his type of winger… what’s the difference between he and Sancho?”, Richard Keys asked of Andy Gray.
“I don’t get this one,” Keys continued. As he says, it makes sense for Sancho, who just wanted to get away from Man U. For Chelsea, it’s harder to see the upside.

First off, Sancho is on lower wages. Second, Maresca knows hims, rates him highly and obviously thinks he can get the best out of him. And, if he does, and he can get him back to the level he showed at Dortmund then the fee we will have paid for him will look like bargain.
