Christopher Nkunku has barely spoken to the media since joining Chelsea a year ago, as he’s spent most of that time injured.
Today he was given the callup to speak to the cameras ahead of the game against Man City tonight, where he was asked about how close he felt to his best, almost exactly a year after the horrible injury that took him out of action for so long.
It was interesting to hear that his big wish for the next few weeks was just “more minutes.”
“I know I’m not 100% now, but I’m working for it” he admitted.
