After Chelsea’s 2-0 loss to Manchester City, most Blues are relatively positive.
Yes we lost, but against the best team in the country, plus we looked pretty good at times. We even had more xG than the Champions.
It wasn’t what the pundits on BeinSport wanted though. They were still mystified by the decision to sack Mauricio Pochettino and go back to square one just as things started coming together.
“Pochettino played good football…. you’ve replaced him with a guy who has never managed in the Premier League before” pointed out Andy Gray.
The other pundits – and Richard Keys – all agreed they’d have kept Pochettino.
