Apparently ‘someone from Brentford’ has made a late shock call to Chelsea that could potentially see a surprise deal happen today.
And perhaps, due to the fact that Chelsea have been linked with a certain Brentford player again this week, maybe some kind of swap deal can be done.

Chelsea are putting all their energy into Victor Osimhen still as of late last night, but Ivan Toney could well be turned to if they cannot land Osimhen.
But what if maybe Chelsea had another trump card to play if Brentford want one of their players? Well, according to Fabrizio Romano, they have enquired for Ben Chilwell.

Seems very unlikely to happen, I can’t see Chilwell accepting a move to Brentford. But as Romano reports above in his latest PlayBack video, Brentford have made a call to Chelsea to ask about Chilwell. So I guess anything can happen still.
