Enzo Maresca didn’t have many positive things to speak about after Chelsea’s 2-1 defeat in Servette – so it should be no surprise that he focused on the one bright spot in the presser.
He was asked about Noni Madueke’s first England callup, which was confirmed today in interim manager Lee Carsley’s first squad. Madueke had a poor game today in truth. But he will likely get another chance on Sunday, and we’re sure he will step it up playing with the first string.
