Tomorrow will be Chelsea fans’ first chance to see Enzo Maresca on the touchline at Stamford Bridge when we play Inter Milan in our final friendly, but they can get a good preview of what to expect on the club’s Youtube channel.
They did an “Enzo cam” which followed our new manager through the game from the sidelines. As it was in some of the training sessions shouting at Noni Madueke was a real feature here.
“Noni… Noni… yes, yes, stay there,” the Italian shouted. Romeo Lavia also got some up close coaching.
By the second half, the new man was already looking frustrated by some of the finishing on show as he trudged back to his seat following a bad miss.
Madueke then redeems his earlier errors by bringing the score back to 2-1. Maresca’s brooding continued through a goalless second half.
