There has been yet another potentially big twist in the Samu Omorodion to Chelsea deal, according to a report that has just come out of Spain this morning.
Last night it was all off, and even Fabrizio Romano has been reporting that Omorodion to Chelsea is 100% off. It looks like Chelsea turned their attentions to Joao Felix instead. But just as quickly as that news came out, the news that Omorodion to Chelsea might still be on has also just come out.

Relevo are reporting that Chelsea and Atletico Madrid are in talks to see if the Samu Omorodion deal can be salvaged. If it CANNOT be, then Joao Felix will be the alternative.

I’m sure Chelsea will be really annoyed that all of this has come out in the public eye and really they should have just been doing all of this behind closed doors. But I guess with so many people and agents etc involved in this story that is still ongoing and twisting and turning in all directions, that the noise from it was always going to leak out. But it seems that every little detail and every little change in it is coming out in the public minute by minute. It’s not good at all.
Chelsea should have moved stealth mode like they did for the Pedro Neto deal, because this really isn’t a great look on them at all. I guess that is the beauty of a transfer window though and these things do happen.
