Noni Madueke cups his ear to the haters.

“You can’t” – Noni Madueke has Wolverhampton Council on strings as they fire back

Noni Madueke’s deleted Instagram post prior to Chelsea’s 6-2 win against Wolves on Sunday afternoon has even now had Wolverhampton Council on strings as they fire back to the post.

Madueke posted to his Instagram story ahead of scoring a hat-trick against Wolves to help Chelsea thrash them on Sunday which featured a swear word to describe his hatred for the City!

Sources: Ivan Toney, Victor Osimhen, Jadon Sancho, Raheem Sterling, Trevoh Chalobah & more: Three days left!

The post was soon deleted and Madueke said he was supposed to post that on another account! But of course, the damage was already done within seconds as fans jumped on the screenshot.

The post saw Madueke get booed on the pitch during the game before he stepped up and played easily the best every game he has played for Chelsea, possibly fuelled by all that noise and drama off the back of his post!

Wolverhampton Council were not pleased

Madueke’s post even reached the offices of Wolverhampton Council, who did not take too kindly to Madueke using a swear word to describer their City!

The leader of Wolverhampton Council Stephen Simkins on Noni Madueke:

“I would suggest that this footballer, this highly paid footballer, has not really seen Wolverhampton. He could only have been here 48 hours or so and that would have been at a hotel or a training ground, so what he’s seen was probably through a coach window too.”

“You can’t make snap judgements like that about a place – it’s a great city.”

All I can say is I’m glad he scored, played well, and we won. Can you imagine if that didn’t happen!?

  1. If the council has to fire back over a deleted tweet then maybe they’ve got a bit of an inferiority complex.

“Me thinks thou doth protest too much.”
