Breaking news confirms another chief executive has been moved on by Chelsea

Some breaking news this morning confirms that Chelsea have parted ways with yet another executive member of the club’s boardroom.

There has been so many new hires and fires at the club in the last few years since the new ownership took charge at the club. Some of them have just not lasted at all in some big changes at the club, and the latest one certainly goes under the category of not lasting.

Chief executive Chris Jurasek has departed Chelsea in breaking news just released by The Telegraph today.

Jurasek moved on by Chelsea

The report claims that Chelsea’s summer overhaul has extended past the playing staff and football management, with chief executive Chris Jurasek becoming the latest high-profile departure as part of a behind-the-scenes reshuffle.

The club have set up a new management committee to run the commercial side of the club that does not include Jurasek and will instead be spearheaded by chief operating officer Jason Gannon.

Not a popular figure with fans

The report goes on to say that Jurasek became an unpopular figure among sections of staff and supporters.

I know that many Chelsea fans felt like he was leading the whole operation where fans felt like customers and not supporters of the club, which is by far any way to operate and Chelsea fans would never accept that.

It sounds like it is best that both parties are now moving on and in different directions, and it’s good that the Chelsea owners have realised that he needed to go.
