Noni Madueke has said it’s easy to play with Cole Palmer and the pair have a great chemistry as he opened up on their relationship.
The duo have played alongside each other for a number of years for the England under-21s and were part of the side which won the Euros in 2023.
That time together seems to have translated onto the pitch at Chelsea with the pair having a great understanding of one another and they have already combined to devastating effect this season.
Madueke on his relationship with Palmer
The pair have both started the season brilliantly with Palmer already having four assists and a goal to his name from the first three league games, whilst Madueke has four goals in four appearances in all competitions.
The former PSV man scored a brilliant hat-trick in the 6-2 win against Wolves, with all his goals being set up by Palmer and his early season form has earned him a first call-up to the England senior squad.
Unfortunately the pair won’t be able to link up on the international stage after Palmer withdrew from the squad, but Madueke has opened up on their relationship and explained how easy it is to play with the former Manchester City man.
“We’ve been playing with each other for eight years now I think in the exact same positions we’re playing in now,” he told talkSPORT.
“It’s easy to play with someone like that because he knows what you like to do, and I know what he likes to do.
“We have a good chemistry and long may it continue.”
Chelsea fans will certainly hope it continues and if the duo carry on how they have started the season they are going to play a big part in any success the club has this season.
