One coach has this week compared a Chelsea player to Real Madrid winger Vinicius Junior, but also says that this player might actually have to leave the club soon.
Chelsea have signed up many top talents over the last few years, and the attacking midfield and winger areas are looking very strong with the arrivals of Pedro Neto, Jadon Sancho, and Joao Felix this summer, adding to the clear talent that they already have in those areas.
EXCL! Clealake could now sell stake in Chelsea, leaving it to Todd Boehly!!
You wonder what the future now holds for Mykhailo Mudryk, who surely is not going to get much of a look in now other than perhaps some domestic cup games or in the Conference League.
Mudryk should have gone on loan this summer, but his national team coach believes he might have to consider leaving Chelsea anyway.
Mudryk like Vinicius?
Ukrainian coach Yuriy Benyo says that the constant swapping of head coaches at Chelsea has not helped Mudryk, and he also compares him to Vinicius.
In words cited on X, Benyo says:
“Mudryk is like Vinicius in Real Madrid. He also does not work so hard on defense. He is in such a situation that he cannot even leave. There is a constant rotation of coaches.
“Every coach who comes sees his talent and tries to use it, but when it comes to the game, his weak side becomes noticeable – playing without the ball, playing on defense, in pressing.
“If there was a coach who would work at Chelsea for at least two years, and he really wouldn’t count on Mudryk, then it’s better to leave.”
The comparison the Vini is utterly ridiculous, lol!
