Kendry Paez showed Chelsea fans what they have to look forward to next season as he put in an impressive performance against Brazil.
Chelsea agreed a deal last summer worth a reported £17m to sign Paez from Independiente del Valle, with the 17-year-old regarded as one of the biggest prospect in South American football.
Despite being just 17 years old Paez has already established himself as a regular for both club and country and doesn’t look out of place at all.
The teenager will link up with Chelsea next summer and fans are already excited by the prospect of the impact Paez will have not only on the squad but the team.
Although Ecuador lost to Brazil on Friday evening Paez put in an impressive display for the 45 minutes he was on the pitch.
He showed off his brilliant passing capabilities and technical abilities and he doesn’t look out of place at all from a physical standpoint.
If he continues to perform to this level and develop in the way which Chelsea hope he will then the Blues have got a serious player on their hands for many years to come.
