Levi Colwill has started all four of Chelsea’s Premier League games this season and leads the way in one important stat for the club so far.

Colwill, who is now in his second season at Stamford Bridge has established himself as a regular starter alongside Wesley Fofana, with the duo Enzo Maresca’s first choice defensive pairing at this point in time.

Chelsea recorded their first clean sheet of the campaign against Bournemouth, in which Colwill played a big part, and he’s made that left centre back position his own so far.

It seems the 21-year-old has certainly grown and matured as a player since last season and the Blues are reaping the benefits of that on the pitch.

Maresca’s style of play revolves around keeping the ball and according to Fbref, Colwill has completed 277 out of 299 passes this season, which gives him a passing accuracy of 92.6%, the highest out of anyone at the club and the most out of the seven players who have started every game for the Blues this season, which includes Cole Palmer and Moises Caicedo.
