Chelsea will be playing in the Club World Cup this season, and event that will be played during the domestic season giving Chelsea extra games to play in an already congested fixture schedule.
The Blues are of course already in the Europa Conference League, Premier League, and two domestic cup competitions, so the extra one might become tough to navigate.

But Chelsea are taking it very seriously and will be fielding their best players according to Blues legend John Terry.
Chelsea going all out for CWC
Terry still works at the club in the academy setup, and admittedly it is nice to hear him talking about Chelsea as ‘we’ and that he is still part of the club.
As you can see in this video via X.com, Terry details Chelsea’s serious plans for the CWC.
He says:
“Super excited to be there (Club World Cup). As a football club we are going to be prepared to go there and hopefully win it. It 100% matters. We are going to bring our best players and best squad and give it our best opportunity.”
