The focus for Chelsea today was on their missed chances after the Blues failed to turn a great attacking first half performance into a win.
But that’s a little unfair – it was ultimately the defending which let them down, considering they were 1-0 up and ended up drawing.
Speaking in the press conference after the game, manager Enzo Maresca dismissed any idea of defensive concerns, pointing out that his team had restricted Crystal Palace quite well, and only conceded to a super strike from outside the box.
