Another wild transfer window is over at Chelsea, and for the third game in a row at Stamford Bridge there was a player to be introduced to the crowd.
Following on from Pedro Neto and Joao Felix, today we had deadline day arrival Jadon Sancho. He had a nice tour of sunny pitch, waved to the crowd and signed some autographs. He won’t get on the pitch today – in fact he might have to wait a while, given we’re coming into the international break.
After that, it will probably be strictly Conference League action for a while for the winger as he works out Enzo Maresca’s system.
Look- you can even see co-sporting directors Laurence Stewart and Paul Winstanley up there applauding their own signing. Let’s hope those grins are just as wide in May! That’s when the £30m cash payment for Sancho is due.

Enzo Maresca is committing the same mistake that Pocchetino did when he started the season by trusting Robert Sanchez and later turned to Jorge Petrovic.
