Enzo Maresca was pleased to get 3 points today, but he wasn’t getting over excited by the performance when speaking to Chelsea TV after the game.
He even hinted that his team probably deserved a draw against a spirited Bournemouth team.
“I think last week against Palace we probably we deserved the three points and we drew. Tonight… we got the win and we’re very happy” he concluded with a twinkle in the eye.
He doesn’t say it explicitly but his meaning is clear. We lost two points against Palace, but we probably nicked them back here on the balance of play.
