Cole Palmer is just such a funny guy. Fresh from scoring a sensational 4 goal haul – including a beautiful free kick – the attacker was asked whether he had just played the best performance of his career by Sky Sports.
“Maybe” he replied, in typical Palmer manner.
The interviewer then went on to push him a little further and asked about the free kick. Had Palmer been practicing them specially?
“Nah not really, just messing about,” he replied, even more bluntly.
So cool, so calm, so Cole. We hope he never changes.
