It looks like it will soon be decision time coming up for one Chelsea player going forward, and it is going to be a pretty big decision that he will need to make.

As we go in to another international break, many Chelsea players have headed off to represent their countries whilst others have stayed at Cobham to continue training under Enzo Maresca at Chelsea.

EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea now looking at versatile Bundesliga defender for potential pending move!

Defender Tosin Adarabioyo has a big decision to make at international level. He represented England at youth level but has not made any senior squads since. If he wants to play international football, he is either going to need to wait to see if he can get in an England squad soon, or take up the offer to go and represent Nigeria instead, who he is eligible to play for.

Nigeria want Tosin

Tosin strides out for Chelsea

The absence of Tosin from the Nigerian squad for the upcoming AFCON qualifier matches against Libya sparked debate.

Meanwhile, the Nigeria Football Federation has provided an updated on his chances of representing Nigeria.

The Nigeria Football Federation disclosed there have been discussions with Tosin in the past and he indicated that he was not ready to play for Nigeria at that time.

The NFF have spoke out about it:

“Jose Peseiro travelled to meet with him in the UK last year to speak to him about playing for Nigeria, but he told the coach at that time that he was not ready,” an NFF source told ESPN.

“If he wants to make the switch now he knows what to do.”
