One English tabloid paper has posted a very gloomy back page article in their newspaper today regarding one former Chelsea manager.
It looks like Thomas Tuchel is going to be officially appointed as the new England manager today after successful talks this week, and not everyone is happy about it.

As a Chelsea and an England fan, I am over the moon with this news – I don’t think there is a better manager available right now than Tuchel, and he will be superb for England.
He was great with Chelsea and obviously won the Champions League in 2021 with a squad that really wasn’t much better than average in my opinion.
But as well as that, the players seemed to love him and he built up a good rapport with the fan base at Stamford Bridge as well.
The Daily Mail aren’t happy
The tabloid has run with the headline ‘Dark Day’ with the pending appointment of Tuchel, and have slandered the idea of hiring a foreign manager. Or more importantly perhaps, a German manager.
Some English people just have an issue with having any other manager than an English manager.
Personally, I don’t care. I want a winner. I want a tactical manager. I want a motivational manager. Tuchel is ALL of that.
He was great at Chelsea until it all came to an end, and he was popular with the Blues fan base as I said.
I truly believe that he will finally be the manager to lead England to success and another major trophy, the first one since 1966. He is great at tournament football and knows how to win big knockout games.
I do find it surprising that The FA are going down this route, but I completely applaud them for doing so as it is obviously going to be a risk when the media are writing things like this.
