(Images): Former Chelsea director spotted amongst fans at Stamford Bridge yesterday

Generic Stamford Bridge when empty.

Yesterday saw a familiar face in the stands at Stamford Bridge as The Blues beat Newcastle United 2-1 in their Premier League match.

Enzo Maresca’s side played well and managed to grab a very important and hard earned three points against a tough side to beat.

Sources: The ‘leaders’ impressing Enzo Maresca’s staff at Cobham, plus the inside details on Josh Acheampong’s contract situation!

In the crown to see the win was former Blues director and former assistant to Roman Abramovich, Marina Granovskaia.

Marina has been pretty active on social media in recent weeks, and she posted the pictures on her Instagram of herself sat amongst the Chelsea fans watching the game yesterday.

No corporate seats for the former employee

Marina wrote on IG:

“First time in with the supporters at Stamford Bridge and, no, I was not tall enough to see the goals! But wonderful to be back to witness such a great performance and important win!

It looks like Marina chose to sit amongst the Blues fans rather than in a corporate box, which I am sure she would have easily been able to sit in if she wanted to.

But I guess she wanted the full fan experience yesterday, and it was nice to see her back in the stands watching the former club that she was at.
