Anyone who has played in any football team at any level will relate to what this Chelsea player is saying about the current squad right now and see this as a major positive plus point.

Chelsea have started the season very well, and they have now won five matches on the bounce ahead of facing Nottingham Forest later today.

EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea now watching NEW Premier League striker name THIS season!!

A lot of this appears to be down to the positive effect that new head coach Enzo Maresca is having, but a lot of credit needs to go to how well the players have been performing, and a look of real squad togetherness in the camp, which is something refreshing and needed, and also something we have lacked in recent years at Chelsea.

Having a squad togetherness is something that can really push a team towards success, and Chelsea as a club really needs that again.

Renato Veiga says that new Chelsea is not clicky

Squad unity

Going back to my opening sentence, if you have different clicks or different groups isolating themselves within football teams at any level, it is never a positive thing.

And according to Renato Veiga, this is not happening at Chelsea right now.

In words cited on X, he says:

“The squad is really together, there are no little groups like in other teams that I’ve been part of before. It does happen, it’s normal but it’s kind of special that here at Chelsea, in our team we have just a big group that is one big family. Everyone feels part of it.”

This is very positive.
