Really, there’s no need. We’ve enjoyed Maresca’s slightly bluff and gruff manner. And this is very minor. But this is unnecessary. It’s a fair question – and in reality still a softball effort compared to what journalists could ask if they wanted. It doesn’t cost anything to be polite – and keeping the journalists onside will be vital when times are tough.
