“Wasting nine minutes of their time” – Cole Palmer’s hilarious response to question in interview

Chelsea’s Cole Palmer admitted that he recently enjoyed wasting 9 minutes of everyone’s time after doing a marketing shoot.

We have recently just seen Palmer in the latest GQ magazine alongside England team mate Kobbie Manoo in what was a big spread interview about the Blues talisman.

EXCLUSIVE! Premier League club make enquiry to sign Chelsea player that could lead to swap deal seeing striker going the other way!!

And now he has done another big feature, this time with The Telegraph, and perhaps quite fittingly, there was focus on fashion in this one as well.

Palmer has been using the international break to put out interviews it seems, and of course everyone wants to speak with him right now. He has become an over night sensation and a big household name amongst footballer lovers, and he did it off the back of a break out season last season when he joined Chelsea from Manchester City.

The Chelsea attacker recently did a promotional push for fashion brand Burberry. They chose a nine-minute video of him sitting largely motionless beside a lake with a fishing rod, wearing a £2,490 duffel coat but saying nothing.

The Telegraph asked him if he feels the footage has added to his air of mystery. “Yeah, because people thought I was going to get up and do something,” he says. “But I ended up just wasting nine minutes of their time.”

Palmer continued: “I do love fashion. What you put on, people do look at, and maybe they’ll start wearing it.”

Chelsea fans will care not about what he wears off the pitch. They adore him on the pitch, and without him last season, it could have been a total disaster for the club who would have surely ended up finishing much lower in the league without his important goals and assists, goals and assists that he is also once again providing us this season, thankfully.
