“The Chelsea players” – Blues men slated by BBC pundit after thing they did vs Ipswich

The Chelsea players have been slated by one thing they did during the defeat to Ipswich Town in the Premier League last night.

Chelsea were really poor and Ipswich just wanted it more and showed more hunger come the end of the game. Chelsea dominated the game as expected, but you don’t win games if you do nothing with the possession. Ipswich made the most of their chances and got Chelsea on the counter attack and with some long balls up to the ever impressive Chelsea target, Liam Delap. Enzo Maresca was full of praise for Delap after the game and it seems pretty obvious to me that he would love to add such a profile to his current team.

Sources: Two Bournemouth defenders ‘ones to watch’ for Chelsea in January, Joao Felix staying, Goalkeeper on hold, more…

But back to what was annoying one BBC pundit whilst watching the game last night, and that is the petulance of some of The Blues players.

They did what many teams do when they are losing, lose their minds and just want to start fights with players on the pitch rather than show any actual fight with their desire and their play.

Chelsea players moaned a lot last night

Paul Robinson, the former England international and now BBC pundit, accused the Chelsea players of showing petulance in their defeat to Ipswich.

Robinson told BBC Sport: (9:48pm, 30 December): “The Chelsea players are still moaning on the pitch, there’s still petulance.”

There was a lot of moaning to be honest and it isn’t what the focus should have been on for our players, they should have been putting all their energy into actually scoring a goal against a team who I believe will once again be back in the Championship league next season because they are just so poor.

  1. True some players who had played last night aren’t not strong enough to play for this team . They have attitude problem . They can leave Chelsea FC . To maresca your players are revolting against you . So you have to be careful about who you trusted to play and plus please adjust your tactics…… You too obsessed about winger . And if you won’t start Jackson please play Guiu . And play Felix behind striker . Palmer can play as winger . Now rested Neto and Sancho please rest Palmer and try Felix weekend week out on his strong position. You can mentor Felix to track back for defence. Play Palmer with Felix and play formation of 4312/4321 … Play Palmer in the wing as a decoy let Felix and Enzo marauding the central midfield .

  2. Well, well flash in the pan, and the bubble has burst. Back to normal as I have always said. many good chances wasted. Defence again useless, only Palmer, and James have quality, the rest —-DONKEYS and brought in by brainless Yanks who know nothing.
Now ten points dropped, and no doubt more will be lost soon. These loyal fans must need their brains tested to keep on paying hard earned money to watch continuous crap. These men are just there for the money, no quality and passion, like we are used to. 3 years ago we were world club champs, now we get beat by bottom clubs. Man city are similar, but they have good players, and will sort it, we have no chance with this lot. Throwing money for new men is no good if you have not got a clue !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
