Mauricio Pochettino was asked about his current contact with the Chelsea owners and whether they were frustrated by the club’s situation.
“They’re not disappointed,” he insisted. ” We share the same ideas about [results] and the performances are good.”
We believe him – for now. But these owners have had the same frustrations for a year with other coaches too, and their patience with Pochettino may be more limited than it might have been because of that.
Score a couple of goals on Sunday and earn three points however, and all will be forgiven.
