Fabrizio Romano’s video about Manchester United’s failed transfers this summer had an interesting Chelsea angle.
Apparently, the Red Devils were thinking about signing Axel Disasi, but their struggles to sell Harry Maguire made it hard for them to commit towards bringing in the then Monaco man.
In the end, Disasi came to Chelsea, with a whirlwind deal agreed shortly after it was confirmed that Wesley Fofana had another serious injury.
Romano also includes some interesting info about the reasons that the Marc Cucurella loan to United fell through.
