Frank Lampard was on Monday Night Football this week and he went into great detail on his first spell at Chelsea and how he thought it had gradually gone wrong.
He put a lot of it down to issues with formation – the back 3 that served him so well in his first season had to change because of players like Kai Havertz who came in – seemingly without Lampard’s approval.
It’s so fascinating to hear a little insight on that, and as well on his role in choosing players for transfers and so on.
