At Chelsea, it’s Levi Colwill who will get to take advantage of Chilwell’s absence. With England, it’s… also Levi Colwill.
The defender got called up for this October international period, and Gareth Southgate was asked about that in his press conference today, confirming that he will be using the youngster as a left back, in “an area we need to find a little bit out about one or two of our players.”
He added that he and his staff were “very hopeful” about Colwill’s quality and progress.
