Frank Leboeuf has been one of the most vocal and outspoken critics of Chelsea this season, but even he couldn’t complain last night after a 4-1 win. He said it was a “very encouraging” result. But he did also make some quite valid points about how it came about.
He’s correct in saying that the Blues weren’t that impressive in the first half, and also in that saying that things really fell apart for Burnley by their own hands. They tried to mix things up by changing formation, and it really played into our hands.
We have far tougher tests coming up in the next weeks, so it will be interesting to see how we cope with that.
