If, like us, you’ve been struggling through so many Chelsea games with few or no goals this season, you’ll be relishing the chance to watch back 4 of them from Saturday.
The extended highlights from the game show some interesting stuff we hadn’t noticed at first.
Firstly, the Marc Cucurella right back experiment, after a good run of two games, has to end (and given Reece James is back, can end). The way he defends for their goal is really shocking – although he wasn’t the only one at fault.
Robert Sanchez was beaten far too easily, and it’s not the first time we can say that this season.
On the other hand, he made up for it with some brilliant stops later. Is he going to be one of those types of keepers? It certainly looks like it.

Was Cucurella at right back really an “experiment?†I seriously doubt Poch WANTED to play him there, lol! Wasn’t this more of a “needs must†situation? Seems like this piece amounts to SuperFrank setting up a straw man to make a pointless point. Must have been a slow news day, lol!
