Mauricio Pochettino was understandably grumpy in his press conference after dropping two points against Arsenal this evening.
He pointed out that his team “should have been” 3-0 up. Which is fair enough given the chances they had and the mistakes that the Arsenal defence made.
It’s a fair enough point – but as we’ve learned many times this season, what you deserve isn’t what you get in football. You’ve got to see games out to get the result you deserve, and we categorically failed to do that today.
