On Sky Sports today, Stephen Warnock gave a blunt assessment about Mauricio Pochettino’s Chelsea team and the way they crumbled once Arsenal got back into the game on Saturday.
“It shows their vulnerabilities and where they’re at mentally, in how to manage a game.”
It’s hardly searingly original, but you can’t deny the plain truth of it. Earlier this season we couldn’t produce a good performance, now we’re at least playing well for large parts of games. Finishing the job is the next part to get in place.
