On the Gab and Jules show today on ESPN they were very interested in the argument about the penalty.
Julien Laurens didn’t blame Raheem Sterling too much for trying to grab the ball. Instead he pointed out what he noticed happened when the winger kept it away from Cole Palmer.
“What I love is,” the French pundit explained, claiming it was the confidence and leadership of young Enzo that was striking.
“He’s a leader in this team” he enthused.
As Gab Marcotti then pointed out, the fact that Enzo Fernandez comes from the same country as his manager is probably pretty influential in this.
