Cesare Casadei has not had the best start to his loan at Leicester City, and he’s struggled for minutes this season so far. But the sheer volume of games in the second tier means everyone gets their shot eventually, and the young Italian stepped up last night with a player of the match performance.
He showed all his usual dynamism – covering ground, taking shots and putting in tackles. Let’s hope this earns him a longer run in the team. If he continues to be a bit part player, we’ll have to consider it a bit of a wasted loan.
