The Chelsea TV interviewers are never going to give the manager a rough ride, in fact their questions today were about as close as they’ll come.
After a really turgid showing against Blackburn last night they asked Mauricio Pochettino if such a “controlled” performance was part of the plan. That’s basically a euphemism for totally rubbish in attack.
He responded that since he arrived, he and his staff were “always happy with the performances” from the player, and had just been let down by the results sometimes.
We wonder if that’s just his message to the media, or if he really thinks that behind the scenes?
