Today is Cole Palmer day, there’s no denying it.
The 19 year old moved from Man City to Chelsea this summer, and today marks his first game against the team where he came through the ranks. Mauricio Pochettino spoke about his charge in an exclusive interview and pointed to his “desire” as his key quality.
The coach pointed out that when Cole was winning the ball back high up the pitch, that didn’t come down to skill or physical fitness, just pure desire.
Against his old team today, we expect that desire to be doubled.
